FORMULSOFT was founded in Istanbul in 1997 in order to develop advanced technology software and hardware products. FORMULSOFT, where mainly R&D activities were performed, started to work on development in recognition systems in 1999. FORMULSOFT specialized on biometric and digital signal processing. In 2003, first time in Turkey, FORMULSOFT developed a high performance commercial fingerprint recognition algorithm that is completely consist of native codes, and integrated it to a DSP based, subcutaneous print sensing capable, embedded system. So that, our country is not dependent on foreign software anymore. FORMULSOFT, by concentrating R&D efford on specific issues, developed voice recognition algorithm and signed a partnership agreement with SAM Araştırma for tracking national radio stations in 2004. Thanks to this high performance electronical recognition system, high efficiency was achieved.

With the demand from Music Professions Associations, first time in June 2007, by Telifmetre (royalty-meter) system, played song of the singers in media are reported according to the media companies. The reports are available online and ready for the subscribers.
